GOOD MORNING AND WELCOME TO WORSHIP. Grace Lutheran Church welcomes all as God's children, and with Christ's guidance offers a caring, friendly atmosphere for Worship, Spiritual Growth, Fellowship, and Education. We support the mission and programs of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and provide opportunities and challenges to serve the human and spiritual needs of our wider community.

is available Sundays from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m.
Christopher Young is our childcare provider. Our nursery is located in the South-East Education Building.

"Casual in Christ" Sunday
July 21st - after worship

Wear casual clothes (t-shgirts & shorts!) to worship. Then join in a fun time of picnic games, tricycle races, hotdogs,ice cream, and a fun time spent with your church family! (All ages!)

Today We Welcome
Nicole Madeline Burg
into Gods family through the sacrament of Holy Baptism

Niclole Madeline Burg is the daughter of proud parents Greg and Jennifer Burg and the grand daughter of equally proud grandparents Hwoard and Judy Johnson.

Nicole was born on the sixth of December, 2001, St. Nicholas Day.

Please extend your warmest welcome to Nicole, her proud parents, and proud grandparents as they celebrate her Baptism.

Summer Choir

The Grace Lutheran "Summer Choir" will assemble and sing for the third Sunday of each month during the summer: June 16, July 21, and August 18. Members of the congregation and visitors are welcome to join members of the Grace Sanctuary Choir and will learn and sing an anthem for each of these Sundays. Rehearsals during the week are not required! Just come to the Fireside Room by 8:30 a.m. on the designated Sundays for a 45-minute rehearsal prior to the service.

July 25 - Family Night at Newcastle Beach Park from 3 to 7 p.m.
July 26 - High School Youth Group will play laser tag from 7 to 11 p.m.
August 6 - Grace Seniors meet at 12:30 p.m. in Pearson Hall
August 6-12 - Holden Village Summer Backpacking.
August 23 - High School Youth will play "Capture the Flag" starting at 7:30 p.m.
August 29 - Family Night at Newcastle Beach Park from 3 to 8 p.m.
Septmeber 8 - Rally Day! One Worship Service at 9:30 a.m.
September 15 - Begin two Worship Services. One at 8:00 a.m. and the other at 10:30 a.m. Adult Forum and Sunday School from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.

Our Northwest Washington Synod is planning a delegation trip to visit our companion Synod in Moscow, Russia in late September of this year. Members of Grace are invited to come along and then go up to St. Petersburg to visit our Sister Congregation. If you are interested contact Eva Mader or Pastor Howell.

Mutual Ministry meets the second Tuesday of the month at noon in the Library.
Prayer Group meets every Tuesday in the Library at 9:30 AM.
Quilters meet each Wednesday except second of the month at 10:00 AM in Pearson Hall (first Wednesday of the month only in June, July, and August)
Worship and Music meets the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM in the Library.
Men's Group breakfast - International House of Pancakes, near Fred Meyer in Bellevue second Monday the month 9 AM.
High School Youth Group meets first and third Sunday of each month 5 to 7 p.m.
Evangelism Committee meets Thursday before Council in Library 6 p.m.
