GOOD MORNING AND WELCOME TO WORSHIP. "Operation Baby King" Christmas-Pageant this year!

We will be starting practices the third week in November, on the 17th. The practices will be during our normal Education Hour, 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.

We will start up our curriculum again after the New Year.

Sing in the Season & Advent Dinner

We cordially invite you sing in the season at our annual Advent dinner and Carol Song Festival.
This is a great event to invite friends to!

Sunday, December 8th

Dinner will be at5 p.m. in Pearson Hall. Our tentative menu is: Baked Ham with Cranberry Sauce, Au Gratin Potatoes, Ginger Carrots, Green Beans, Rolls, and Dessert. Cost for dinner will be $10.00 per person. Our fellowship committee is preparing the meal and will need an exact count so please buy your tickets in advance at the church office, Ruth Kindschi, or Pastor Howell.

Then at 7 p.m. we'll go up to the Sanctuary for a Carol Sing. The theme this year is "Carols from around the World." The evening will be a mixture of carols sung by the congregation as a whole and carols sung by our Grace choir. We will enjoy carols from America, England, France, Poland, China, Folk Tunes and Ethnic Songs.

We hope you can join us for an evening of family fun and fellowship!

Acolyte Training

Jeanne Bodin will be training new acolytes today, following second service (11:30 pm) in the Sanctuary. All persons who are fourth grade, or older, and would wish to serve as an acolyte are encouraged to attend!

Grace Brigade

The "Grace Brigade" is a new group, which welcomes members of the congregation of all ages, who would like to visit our members whom are sick or homebound and unable to attend Sunday services. Since we have more members in need of visitation than Pastor Howell can visit by himself each week - and that number gets larger all the time - the Brigade members would supplement his visits and help our household friends feel more connected to the congregation as a whole. Pastor Howell will also train the Brigade members and provide them with supplies to share communion!

This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved, to provide a much-needed service, and even to earn some community service hours if you are a high school student. If you would like to be a part of this new team, please contact Danna Syltebo at (425) 455-8237 to get started.

Advent Workshop

A place to experience Advet and prepare your heart for the season that awaits the birth of our Messiah - Jesus.

Crafts, prayer activites, service opportunity.

For all ages during the Education Hour in Pearson Hall Sunday, December 1st.

The church council has designated the Thankgivings offering to be given to the Lutheran Campus Ministry. The Rev. Scott Postlewait is providing Lutheran ministry for students at the University of Washington. Please be generous in support of this worthwhile program.
Use the Thanksgiving offering envelope in your pledge box or simply put your check in the pew envelope or offering tray. Be sure to make it out to Grace Lutheran Church and mark it "Lutheran Campus Ministry."
