"Living Water in the Wilderness"

Dr. Bruce Griasbv for Wednesday Bible studies

Thirsty? Come walk with Dr. Grigsby as we search for water in the wilderness of Lent. He will be leading the Wednesday adult Bible study on February 20th & 27th, and March 6th.

DR. BRUCE GRIGSBY, professor, Trinity Lutheran College came to Trinity Lutheran College in 1992 and has served as head of the General Studies Department since 1994. Dr. Grigsby earned his Ph. D. in New Testament studies at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Subsequent to that he also earned an MA in the Classics program (ancient languages of Greek and Latin literature) while teaching in the Religious Studies Department at BiolaUniversity in CA.

His research has appeared in numerous theological journals, including Biblica, Evangelical Quarterly, and Novum Testamentun. He is under contract with University Press to publish A Second Year Greek Reader, an annotated anthology of classical Greek texts with supplemental grammar review.

Change Time:Sandwich Making for the Compass Center will meet in Pearson Hall on Monday February 11th at 9:30 a.m. instead of 8. Sandwich servers will leave for Central Lutheran, Capitol Hill, at 11:45 a.m.


Oval Event for Women of Grace this afternoon from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Ukrainian Easter Eggs

We will be meeting at 3p.m. in the Pearson Hall Kitchen. Make sure you wear comfortable working clothes that you won't mind getting dye on if there's a bit of an accident.

Cost will be $5 per person to cover supplies. Bring a sandwich if you wish; we'll provide dessert, coffee and tea. RSVP to Linda Howell at 562-1759


Grace Seniors hit the Road... destination Olympia!

Mark your calendars for March the 6th, we'll be leaving the church parking lot at 8:30 a.m. for a tour of our State Capitol which begins at 11.
